I Heart Faces ~ Smirk!

I had no doubt in my mind as to which photo I would post for this weeks photo challenge at I Heart Faces.  This weeks photo challenge is to post a photo with a "smirk".
So, here's my gorgeous sister from a recent shoot we did for fun.  She is a chameleon and can pull off many looks and expressions and I LOVE this photo of her!!

I Heart Faces ~ Celebrating Mom

I actually had quite a few to look through to try to narrow down which photo to use for this weeks I Heart Faces challenge.  It's all about celebrating moms and there are a lot of moms in my life.  For this challenge I chose this photo of a dear friend of mine, Crystal and her youngest child, Kaleb.  This was a sweet moment, a sweet embrace between mom and child and I was glad to be there to capture it.

I ♥ Faces ~ "Bundled Up"

This weeks theme for the I Heart Faces challenge is "Bundled Up".  I recently took several pictures of my neighborhood kids out playing in the snow.  I knew I'd have to use one of the shots I got that day...but which one?!  It was such a hard decision, but here's the one I ended up choosing.
This is one of the youngest ones in the neighborhood.  Her and her sisters were having the time of their lives, sledding, diving and digging in the huge snow pile outside of our houses.  It completely reminded me of when I was a kid and I would dig out forts from the huge piles left behind by the snow piles.
It was such a joy to photograph these girls.

I ♥ Faces ~ Hands On Challenge

I found this great weekly photography challenge website.  I anticipate that I'll be entering often.
The challenge for this week is titled "Hands On Fun".  It only took me a moment to think of this photo!

This was taken on February 6th, 2010 at the wedding of a friend of mine.  This was during their first dance as husband and wife and the way he held her was so beautiful...as you can see in this photo.
