Travis and Dolores ~ Engagement

Travis is the younger brother of one of my best friends, so it truly was a pleasure to do his engagement photos and I very eagerly said yes when he asked me.  Travis is almost like family to me as my friends are very dear to me.  He and his fiancee Dolores told me they had a particular spot they liked to go to in the evening to enjoy the sights of the city and walk together.  When a couple can choose to have their engagement photos done at a location that has meaning to them, I think it makes the photos that much better.  I had a great time with you two and I hope you really like these photos.

Brendan ~ 18 months

I have been photographing this boy since he was 10 days old. For his 18month photos, we explored a bit of Stillwater. Now, I'm ashamed to admit, that I've never really spent time in Stillwater. But, now I'm as smitten with that city as I am with this little boy! How could you not love a boy with cheeks and eyes like he has?! He is definitely 18 months as he kept me on my toes and kept me moving through the whole shoot, but it was worth it. Here's some of my favorite photos from our day together in beautiful Stillwater.

Remi Charles ~ 7 days old

You may remember Remi's big brother Evan, that I've photographed before.  When Michelle contacted me about taking photos of their new little one, I was extremely excited.  Just two days ago, I headed over to see some old friends Jeremy and Michelle and to meet their new little boy, Remi Charles.  I was not disappointed as he was more adorable than I could have asked for.  He did not want to sleep for me, but his eyes continuously drew me in, so that was okay with me.  I did get a couple photos near the end of the shoot of little Remi slumbering away.

Annie and Kirk ~ An engagement shoot

Annie is a fellow RN at the hospital I work at and I jumped at the opportunity to take engagement photos of her and her fiance, Kirk.  After having to re-schedule due to the rain, we finally got lucky today (despite a few raindrops).  The only request I received from these two was to make them look like they are in love.  Well, let me tell you...I didn't have to work hard at that.  Once they warmed up to the camera, their love radiated through.  Congratulations you two!

Melissa ~ A Portrait Session

I always love to play with my camera, and my sister loves to be in front of the camera...Good mix, huh?!  My sister and I have done several photo shoots together, but this was the first time we'd ventured out.  We trekked through the woods and weeds and I ended up coming home with a tick on me!  But it's all in the name of getting the shot, right?!

Farewell Soriano Family!

This was a last minute plan, but I jumped at the opportunity to photograph Erma's beautiful family.  Erma was the evening nurse supervisor on my floor at Regions and she is leaving us, packing up and moving cross country!  She realized last minute that she wanted some family photos before she went.  So, 5 days before the big move, I stopped by their place (amidst the moving chaos) to get some photos for them. 
Here are a few of my favorites...As you can see, Erma and her husband and their twins are GORGEOUS!
